When you’re trying to decide whether to sign an HVAC service agreement, consider the benefits that you’ll gain by having a contract with a local service company. The benefits will far surpass the costs of your service agreement. Here are just a few of the benefits of signing an HVAC service agreement (also called our Energy Savings Agreement) with Ernst Heating & Cooling:
1.) Priority scheduling
Heating and cooling systems can break down at the most inconvenient times, in the depths or winter or hottest days of summer. When you have a service agreement with Ernst, you’re given priority service since you’re already one of our customers. If your unit breaks down at an inconvenient time, this can mean the difference between getting it repaired right away or having to wait.
2.) 15 percent discount on repair costs
In the event that your air conditioner, heat pump or furnace breaks down, we will provide a 15 percent reduced rate for repairs in their service agreements, saving you more money. This will save you significant money, especially if your equipment happens to break down during peak times.
3.) Two precision tune-ups per year
Precision tune-ups help to extend the life of your HVAC unit as well as provide you with an ongoing record of your system. Since we’re maintaining your unit, we will know the system’s requirements and service needs in case a part needs to be replaced or other issues arise with your HVAC system. Having two precision tune-ups (one on your air conditioner and one on your furnace) each year will help keep your heating and cooling system running efficiently.
4.) Automatic Scheduling
If you don’t remember to call us to schedule a precision tune-up, we’ll call you and schedule it at time that fits your busy schedule.
Our goal is to help educate our customers about energy and home comfort issues (specific to HVAC systems). For more information about HVAC service agreements and other HVAC topics, download our free Home Comfort Resource guide.
